Guardians
Through the ceaseless intercession of the Mother of God before her Son and our God Jesus Christ, the
Guardians of the North American Proto-Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham are called to protect and
increase devotion to Our Lady of Walsingham at the Proto-Shrine.
The Guardians fulfill this call especially through daily prayer, developing the ministry of pilgrimage, healing, hospitality, and
education. They include the Chapter, Oblates, Associates, and Bishop Visitor, under the Bishop of Wisconsin, the Rector of Grace
Church, and the Vestry. The Guardians were established in 2022 and continue to grow in ministry, reach, and in reverence and service
to Our Lady.

Oblates
Oblates live close to Our Lady and each other in her Nazareth home by ministering together at the Shrine.
They are drawn into deeper, healing communion with Christ and each other through His Mother, and grow practically in this life through the Oblate Rule, looking to Augustinian Canon life for inspiration and guidance.
Oblates participate in ministry at the Shrine itself and live within a 75 mile radius of the Shrine.

Associates
Associates are those who are called to share in the devotion to Our Lady of Walsingham, particularly in
turning to her in intercession and prayers for healing of all who submit their prayer requests to the Grace
Shrine and in praying the rosary.
Associates may live anywhere to live out the Associate Rule.
